Forbidden Fruits

No matter how hard I try can’t keep out of trouble and I don’t know why

Why do the forbidden fruits always hang extra low

I try to resist but I can’t say no no no

And I get that glow

I’m always gettin into trouble it’s not like I’m looking out for danger

but I like to flirt with strangers with intentions of an angel

Really I don’t mean to let anybody on but somehow they always get me wrong

Really really I’m a good girl but I like sugary things and spices

that light up my eyes but they come with surprises

that are not as nice I imagine initially and then they come back and mess with me

I was running late to work when I saw these colorful flashy signs

they were messing with my mind I was not inclined but

One thing led to another and before anyone could stop me

I was spinning in a champagne soiree

The world is full of temptations if you’ve got qualifications

to get lured into mischief and toil

Two parts coincidence one part faith

You never know how the witches brew boils

Sometimes the cookies that look sweet and delicious

Are already spoiled
